The Ape Man!

JR-C's got even more parts! The bent springer (wich of course was not wide enough for the wide 3.0 tires!), some shorter crank arms, twisted of course (not on the picture) and a great looking ApeHanger handelbar. This totally changed the look for tha' cruiser. Now it is a realy "bad ass headturner"...

Gaffelen er kjøpt hos Bicycledesigner i California!
The fork is from Bicycledesigner, California!

Sånn så den ut...
Here's what it looked like...

A Bent Springer indeed isn't wide enough for a 3" Fatti-O tire.

I had the same problem with a 26" 2.125" tire.. When you turn around the corner the tires hits the inside of the bent springer fork.

This can be easily adjusted by spacing the fork with tiny metal rings.

Just slide 4 rings on each side of the wheels' axle before mounting the wheel back onto the frame.
Also, put 2 rings on both inner sides of the metal axle that is directly underneath the steering tube ( on the inner side of the bent fork arms offcourse )..That way you make the fork a bit wider.. problem solved.

Thanks man!!
But I have already fixed the problem. I had to put 3 metal rings on to make it go clear!!!
